Each candle is inspired by swoony storylines, dreamy tropes, and our favorite fictional crushes. From "Grumpy x Sunshine" to "Enemies-to-Lovers," if you’ve read it and felt it in your soul, we’ve probably turned it into a scent.

Absolutely. Every candle, wax melt, and room spray is hand-poured with love (and a playlist of angsty romances) right here in my home studio. I also hand-make every bookmark and tote bag. No mass production—just small-batch, bookish merch from and for a reader.

I use a creamy coconut-soy wax blend for a clean, long-lasting burn. Bonus? It’s eco-friendly and perfect for setting the mood during your next reading binge.

Treat your candle like she is your beloved book bestie —with care and attention.

  • Trim the wick to ¼" before each burn to avoid soot.
  • Let the wax melt all the way to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling or wax build up.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of pets, excessive drafts, or little ones.
  • If you notice a high flame or the container gets too hot, don’t panic - just extinguish the flame, wait for it to cool down, trim the wick and start again. 

Want to keep your candles looking as gorgeous as the first day you bought them? Here are some tips. 

  • Avoid exposing them to intense light or storing them in warm or humid areas as this can cause discoloration or fading. 
  • Try to keep them away from direct sunlight or strong lighting to preserve their beauty.
  • Keep in mind that temperatures over 80 degrees Fahrenheit can cause wax to soften, so store your candles in a cool, dry place if you won't be lighting them for a while.

Shipping

Orders are processed in the order we receive them unless you've chosen expedited shipping. You can track your order status on a tracking page & also signup for alerts on a courier website. Please always check the ticker on the very top of the Literari Goods home page for current processing times. In busy season (October-December), processing times will be longer. 

Carrier tracking would provide you with up-to-date information about your package. If it gets stuck or never gets delivered to you, please e-mail me directly at jordan@literarigoods.com and I will assist you with the next steps.

Chances of receiving defective item is very rare but it could happen. Please take pictures of a product which shows defect clearly & contact our support to check if it's eligible for replacement.

Returns

Return & Exchange Policy

At Literari Goods, I want you to love your bookish candles as much as I do! If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, I'm here to help.

Returns & Exchanges

  • Returns or exchanges will be offered within 14 days of delivery for unused and unopened products in their original packaging.

  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and I'll send a replacement ASAP.

  • Because my products are handmade, slight variations may occur, but I do my best to ensure consistency.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Used candles, wax melts, or other personal-use items (like perfumes or room sprays) for hygiene reasons.

  • Custom or personalized orders.

  • Sale or discounted items are final sale.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email me at jordan@literarigoods.com with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).

  2. Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item is damaged or defective.

  3. Refunds (minus shipping costs) will be processed once we receive and inspect the item.

I'm a small business, and customer happiness is my priority! If you have any concerns, reach out—I'm determined to make it right. 

Once I receive your item, a refund is initiated immediately. All major credit card providers generally take 5-7 business days to process your refund before it appears in your bank account.
